Parrots are not vertebrates. Their logical characterization places them in the class Aves, request Psittaciformes, and the family Psittacidae. Parrots are once in a while called Psittacines. In excess of 350 types of parrots exist today. Include the various assortments/changes among the species, and what you have is a considerable amount of parrots!
